Peter founded Avior in March 2005. Peter spent two years in fund management at Coronation Asset Management, another two years in equity sales at Investec and five years in equity sales at Merrill Lynch. Peter is a member of the JSE. He holds a BCom Hons and BCom Econ Science degree.
Kevin Mattison, MBA, CFA

Kevin joined Avior in July 2005. He spent eight years at Investec Securities, FM rated in all roles. He started his career at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Toronto, where he worked for seven years on IT and financial product management. Kevin is a member of the JSE.
Atiyyah Vawda, CA(SA)
EXECUTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR
Atiyyah joined Avior in 2015. She is an FM rated analyst in the luxury, retail and investment holding company sectors. She has also been actively involved in Avior’s HR policies/procedures, Integrated reporting and staff management. Before joining Avior, Atiyyah completed her articles at EY and was seconded to the USA.

A UK based firm, founded 1 March 1999 and acquired by Avior in 2014. It is a member both of CREST and LSE since June 2018.
It is authorised and regulated by the FCA with a 730k regulatory licence.

Dana Becker
EXECUTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dana joined Avior in 2014, upon Avior acquiring their FCA registered broker dealer in the UK. He spent 10 year in SA fund management at UAL Merchant Bank, another 10 year with Merrill Lynch, in SA and the UK, before joining BJM UK as Country Head in 2008. Dana is a member of the JSE.
