Avior Capital Markets (Pty) Ltd is excited to announce the launch of their Stock Lending desk.
We will enable clients to cover any short position they may want to enter into at competitive rates.
In addition to covering the shorts we will provide you with market flow information you may find useful. This will include a list of observed flows in the stock available in the lending market.
Avior will act as the counterpart in the securities lending market negating the need for the client to sign agreements with various lenders as well as obtain direct credit lines.
Our clients will sign the standard GMSLA (Global Master Securities Lending Agreement) with us as counterpart to ensure that the legal bases for covering any short transactions are covered.
We will manage the daily margining of collateral for all their clients and ensure any corporate events are accounted for.
